Shida now Belongs to-   HAYALES 

I probably have no chance at winning this thing but here goes.....Okay here is my entry for TC-96's Character Design Contest. I literally read the thing three hours ago and whipped up this pretty girl. So, here it is 4:08 in the morning and this is what I have to show for it. TC-96, said she wanted the cub to look a bit like Azima, so here is my rendition of an adolescent Azima cubby (happy medium between cub and adult) .

Azima's picture showed her to be a rounder-ish featured and slightly stockier lioness, so I made my idea of her daughter more angular and slimmer in build than that of her mother. My Azima cubby sports larger ears accompanied by thicker inner ear rims, contoured eyebrows, an "outlander" nose (to account for something of Daddy's) with slight gradient (her nose also has the slight bump in it as you'll see, but nothing too excessive), less body/face fuzziness, a darker richer pelt, and scarlet eyes. All in all I tried to make her an individual, without making her too "in your face" as to draw away from the main characters.


I called her "Shida". Which translates to "Trouble", since I believe TC stated this lioness would be giving Leah some grief.
I put her in a slinky pose to show off her longer leaner body, and to give her some personality. The way I see it...she is a pretty little brat that's used to getting her way, and sweet talking herself out of trouble. And considering how much snark her mother has, I think Shida has an equally spicy attitude. 


If she ends up getting chosen, TC-96 can change her in any way she sees fit.

EDIT: Okay for some reason I thought putting anything more than just the character would be distracting and cluttered, so I opted to just leave her be.

"Smart Me" just kicked in this morning and told me to make her a proper reference sheet. So there you go. Shida's reference sheet. I just thought I'd stick it up here just in case anything came of this notion of mine to enter this contest
